It is so rewarding to see students progress as they gain experience in public performance. Several of my students participated in their first recital as well&#8211;a big step to take as they step out of the practice room and share their talents.\u00a0 In addition to my students performing, several piano, voice, and flute teachers and their students performed for a music extravaganza throughout the morning and early afternoon. My flute duo partner Jennifer Pauley and I performed a set of Stephen Foster songs arranged for flute and guitar. A special thank you to Rosalind May for coordinating our performance in this beautiful indoor venue.
