The Colorado Lark Duo is comprised of flutist Jennifer Pauley and guitarist Lorian Bartle.  The Denver-based duo provides elegant live music for special events and occasions.  They perform a wide range of styles ranging from classical to contemporary and are certain to have music that reflects your unique tastes. The duo takes a personalized approach to programming music, working closely with clients to create special ambiance for a memorable event.

JenniferHead
Jennifer Pauley, flutist, performs with the Colorado Lark Flute & Guitar Duo, the Boulder Symphony, and the Lark Song Flute & Harp Duo.  In addition to the silver flute, she has played traverso with the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado and recorded an album on Irish flute and whistle with the band Lough Key.  She currently teaches flute at her private studio in Brighton.  Ms. Pauley holds a B.M. in flute performance from the University of Wyoming where she studied with Rod Garnett.  She obtained an M.M. in Flute Performance from Texas Tech University under the direction of Lisa Garner.

 


Lorian Bartle is a classically-trained guitarist who performs at various Denver-area senior homes, community venues, and special events.  Recent highlights include featured performances at the Applewood Business Association Tuxes & Tees event, Taste of Golden, Foothills Art Center member openings, and the Wheat Ridge Performance Artist Series.  She teaches guitar, keyboard theory, and music theory in her Wheat Ridge studio.  Ms. Bartle earned a B.A. in music cum laude at Vassar College and an M.M. in music theory at Florida State University.  She received extensive post-graduate private guitar instruction with Ricardo Iznaola.
